Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce 2017 Annual Meeting to be held April 18
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is holding its 2017 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, April 18, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort and Spa at Grande Dunes.
The annual meeting will highlight the success of the past year, look ahead to next year, and present awards to some very deserving chamber member companies and outstanding individuals in our community.
During the annual meeting, the chamber will applaud the Citizen of the Year Mike Wooten and Ashby Ward Pioneer of the Year Neyle Wilson. Coastal Carolina University’s Gary Gilmore will be awarded the Chairman’s Award of Excellence.
Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce also will announce winners of the Champion of Diversity Individual award, Champion of Diversity Business award, Hospitality Employee of the Year, Chamber Volunteer of the Year, Chamber Ambassador of the Year, Community Service award, Business Innovation award, Nonprofit of the Year, and Small Business of the Year.
During the evening event, the chamber also will recognize the gsSCENE Young Professional of the Year Woody Goff, gsSCENE Ambassador of the Year Casey Dornhecker and Leadership Grand Strand's Ann DeBock Leadership Award recipient Carla Schuessler.
