MBACC Announces Hiring of Lisa Saguto

Myrtle Beach, SC – The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and CVB has hired Lisa Saguto as the assistant sales manager with the group sales division.

Saguto graduated from Coastal Carolina University in June 2018, with an AACSB-accredited bachelor’s degree in marketing. While at CCU, Saguto was named “Distinguished Business Student of the Year” and “Outstanding Marketing Student of the Year.” She served as president of the American Marketing Association Chapter at CCU and Vice President of Marketing & Communications of the Beta Sigma Business Honors Society Chapter at CCU.

“Lisa served as intern with the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau during the summers of 2016, 2017 and then worked for us in a temporary position the last half of 2018,” said Karen Riordan, President and CEO. “She has demonstrated time and again her abilities and will be a true asset as a permanent member of our chamber family.”

As the assistant sales manager, Saguto provides strong support to her sales team, develops relationships and communication with investors, and coordinates details for trade shows and events that promote the Myrtle Beach area to the meetings & conventions and motorcoach/group tour markets.

Saguto assumes the role, effective immediately.
