NEW MYRTLE BEACH VENTURE TO BRING DINING AND ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX TO THE BOARDWALK
CPC Oceanfront, LLC is pleased to announce that construction is now underway on a three-story entertainment complex on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk at 1410 North Ocean Boulevard, the former site of Banditos Restaurant.
Developers Patrick Marino and Brian Macho, along with local architect Jim Hubbard, have painstakingly designed a modern, functional building that takes full advantage of the oceanfront location. The dazzling 55,000-square-foot structure will feature glass exterior walls, extensive outdoor seating areas, open-air breezeways, and an inviting, contemporary look with rich landscaping sure to complement the highly acclaimed Myrtle Beach Boardwalk.
“We wanted to design a building that offered something for everyone in a convenient, walkable location,” said Patrick Marino, a partner in the development. “People are in Myrtle Beach to enjoy the beach, and this building was designed to provide great food, entertainment, and shopping, in a location that maximizes our greatest local asset – a beautiful beach.”
At present, several successful restaurant and entertainment options are slated to open within the complex. Tin Roof “A Live Music Joint” out of Nashville will feature tasty food and a full bar in a fun, eclectic environment. A venue for talented musicians, discovered and otherwise, Tin Roof will occupy the entire third floor of the new building, including an expansive oceanfront rooftop patio.
National chain Burger Fi will also occupy space on the ground floor of the complex. Burger Fi only serves fresh Angus beef that has never been treated with antibiotics or hormones or fed animal bi-products. This hip twist on the traditional burger joint focuses on high quality food and, along with a full bar, will also serve hot dogs, onion rings, fries, frozen custard, and floats.
Papa’s Raw Bar from Lighthouse Point, Florida will add a Bahamian flair to the complex. Papa’s features fresh, local food, always delivered daily. This unique venue will offer a casual island-style-meets-hip gastropub atmosphere, delicious seafood, and more than 100 beers. Their well-established sister bar and restaurant, The Bimini Room, will reside on a second floor rooftop patio overlooking Ocean Blvd.
The new development will include a ground floor retail store selling light groceries, beach essentials, fashionable brands, and sundries. A national coffee franchise is likely to sign a lease agreement in the coming weeks, and new tenants are being sought to fill remaining space.
“We are very excited to implement this new concept in beachside entertainment,” said Brian Macho, partner.
“A project of this scope offers hundreds of new jobs for the community in addition to providing a unique, exciting venue where tourists and locals can celebrate the oceanfront lifestyle.”
The Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau applauds the project and looks forward to the grand opening in April of 2018. “We could not be happier to welcome this new Myrtle Beach venture. The Blvd. will be a unique addition to Myrtle Beach’s music and culinary scene. Live music, an array of high quality food, and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is a winning combination for our visitors and residents alike. The new corporate investment adds diversity to our traditional product mix and is a major step in helping to revitalize the area.”
A groundbreaking ceremony will be held in the upcoming weeks. Date and time to be announced. Elizabeth Lucas and Kalie Claytor, with the Atwater Group, are taking leasing inquires at 312.332.0690, extensions 306 and 301, respectively.
