Seton Catholic is a private Catholic middle school and high school located in the Carolina Forest section of Myrtle Beach. Our doors are open to students of all faiths and backgrounds. Our centralized location in the Grand Strand is close to these Catholic elementary schools: Holy Trinity, St Michael’s and St Andrew’s. The Friends of the Chapin Memorial Library is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization established in January 1987. The Friends consists of citizens who share the belief that a strong public library is an essential intellectual, cultural, educational and recreational resource in the community. They actively support Chapin Memorial Library by sponsoring activities that enhance the cultural and academic life of the surrounding community. Also, by providing general financial support for the library by encouraging gifts, sponsorships, fundraising activities and promoting special projects. Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics (PIA) has been training students in the aviation industry for over 80 years. The school offers programs in Aviation Maintenance and Aviation Electronics (not all programs are offered at all locations). Students who complete PIA’s program are eligible for federal certifications.

The LPGA Amateurs Myrtle Beach is a non-profit chapter and amateur arm of the LPGA. We bring women of all skill levels to the game through golf programs and social events. We are community driven and service women from Shallotte, NC to Pawleys Island.

We are a National Italian American fraternal organization in Murrells Inlet, whose purpose is dedicated to promoting Italian heritage and culture in our community and surrounding areas. We are able to do this through a variety of Italian-themed events, including Italian language courses, festivals, podcasts, guest speakers, Italian history, music, future trips to Italy and more. Our lodge supports and donates to local charities as well as national organization charities. We proudly support Tunnel 2 Towers and our other charities through fundraising events which include golf tournaments, pasta dinners and more. We are a very social club who always invites and encourages new people to join us.

I work with diabetics to assist them with managing their carbohydrate counts, as well as making healthier choices with their meal planning. I see clients for many other nutritional needs.

Sea Haven provides emergency placement, walk-in and long-term support services for youth and young adults aged 12-24. Sea Haven operates the only 24-hour youth crisis center and homeless youth street outreach center in Horry County. Sea Haven offers a safe haven for youth and young adults as well as medical, mental health, education, employment and stable housing assistance. Sea Haven has been a provider of youth and family support services in the Myrtle Beach community for more than 30 years. Sea Haven is a national Safe Place provider and the only support site in the eastern half of our state. In addition to youth crisis support, Sea Haven also offers free monthly parenting workshops and hosts a free monthly lunch and learn program for the community.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Coastal Carolina University offers a rich and evolving array of courses, lectures, clubs, excursions and special activities; led by Coastal faculty, both active and retired as well as scholars, and experts from the surrounding communities. Members from all walks of life bring a lifetime of experience to the classroom and our activities. OLLI at Coastal Carolina University offers a wide range of courses in the fall, spring and summer.

We also sponsor clubs (e.g., bridge club, book club, gardening club), excursions and volunteer opportunities. We also are the sponsor or co-sponsor of events and lecture series on campus (e.g., the Latin American Film Series, Fall 2021).

We are a volunteer, non-profit that provides free tutoring two hours/week for school-age children and adults who struggle with basic reading, writing and/or math.

We are a faith-based school of the arts providing instruction in dance, choir, piano and special needs inclusion. We exist to bring an appreciation of the arts to children in a conservative format. We strive to keep our costs affordable for all and operate as a 501(c)3 to offer scholarships to those in need. We have been serving the Grand Strand for over twenty years. The Waccamaw Indian People of Conway are the descendants of a group of people who lived and farmed in the area of South Carolina now known as Dog Bluff. Although the inhabitants of the Dimery settlement conducted business and existed as a separate community throughout the years, it wasn’t until 1992 that a formal organization was formed to protect the history and traditions of our people.

Currently, more than 95,000 South Carolinians are living with Alzheimer’s disease, and over 199,000 family members and friends are providing care for them. Our chapter is here to help, serving the entire state through a network of regional offices.

We provide education and support to those facing Alzheimer’s and other dementias throughout our community, including those living with the disease, caregivers, health care professionals and families. We are also committed to advocating for the needs and rights of those facing Alzheimer’s disease and advancing critical research toward methods of treatment, prevention and, ultimately, a cure.

The American Cancer Society is a nationwide voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer. Established in 1913, the society is organized into six geographical regions of both medical and lay volunteers operating in more than 250 Regional offices throughout the United States. We want to know a world that's free of cancer. Until we do, we'll be funding and conducting research, sharing expert information, supporting patients, and spreading the word about prevention. All so you can live longer — and better.

The Chapin Memorial Library is a historic resource for the literary and intellectual concerns for the local citizens and Myrtle Beach visitors. The first x-ray machine for the publicly supported Ocean View Hospital was purchased by The Chapin Foundation. (This hospital was replaced by Grand Strand Hospital). Many local churches have been given assistance with building construction, capital improvements and their community programs.

Mr. Chapin was a visionary in planning for the future of a vibrant life in Myrtle Beach. His passion for serving all the citizens in Myrtle Beach is evident in the areas of focus he provided for including, YMCA, literary enrichment, health and wellness and charitable work. This work began modestly, but has blossomed to enrich the lives of untold citizens and visitors enjoying this beautiful location.

The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is the uniformed, all-volunteer component of the United States Coast Guard. The Auxiliary was created by an act of Congress in 1939 and has grown to over 32,000 members who daily support the Coast Guard in all its non-military, and non-law-enforcement missions. We have members and units in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, American Samoa and Guam.

Auxiliary members conduct safety patrols on local waterways, assist in search and rescue, teach boating safety classes, conduct free vessel safety checks for the public, provide boating safety literature to dealers, as well as many other activities related to recreational boating safety. Collectively, Auxiliarists volunteer over 4.5 million hours per year and complete nearly 500,000 missions – a true force multiplier for the Coast Guard!

Membership in the Auxiliary is open to anyone 17 years of age and older. We are organized into sixteen districts nationwide, comprised of 171 divisions with approximately 980 flotillas. No matter where you live, there is a flotilla near you.

The Foundation Fighting Blindness was established in 1971 by a passionate group of families driven to find treatments and cures for inherited retinal diseases that were affecting their loved ones. At that time, little was known about these blinding retinal diseases. Very little research was being done, and there were no clinical trials for potential treatments. The Foundation’s goal was clear and focused; to drive the research that would lead to preventions, treatments and cures for blinding retinal diseases, including age-related macular degeneration, retinitis pigmentosa, Usher syndrome, Stargardt disease and Leber congenital amaurosis (LCA). Together these conditions affect more than ten million Americans and millions more throughout the world. Today, the Foundation Fighting Blindness is the world’s leading private funder of retinal disease research. That funding has been a driving force behind the progress toward cures, including the identification of more than 270 genes linked to retinal disease, and the launch of over forty clinical trials for potential treatments. On an annual basis, the Foundation Fighting Blindness funds more than ninety-three research grants. The research projects are conducted by more than ninety-six research investigators at 71 institutions, eye hospitals and universities in the United States. The Foundation funding extends internationally to laboratories in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, England, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Mexico, the Netherlands, Poland and Switzerland.

Our vision is to provide "R.E.S.T" in order to transform the lives of those we serve by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, focusing on the whole being, upholding the sanctity of life and standing alongside women as their allies. Through providing necessary resources and support in our unwavering commitment to their well-being, we strive to create a community where women can regain their strength, reclaim their identity and build a brighter future.

Our mission is to foster intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity in an innovative and collaborative environment. We are a new charter school coming to the Myrtle Beach area.

Black Myrtle Beach is a social engagement and business development nonprofit organization. BMB creates and organizes culturally inclusive events for social engagement and fundraising. BMB's goal is to provide education, training and stipends to new and developing black owned businesses. This will help owners be better prepared to develop viable and sustainable businesses. Success in this area creates a culturally diverse business community in Myrtle Beach.
