Following Francis is a volunteer-run program. The organization is non-religious but inspired by Francis of Assisi's ideal of universal brotherhood. It offers free programs and activities for underserved children, families and neighborhoods. The goal is to remove obstacles to happiness so that those served - especially children - experience the true joy and respect they deserve. It’s a Myrtle Beach-centered program, Francis in the Dunes, focuses on the low-income families in a local neighborhood, providing essential support with basic needs plus enriching experiences for the children.
