In response to the recent news that Congress passed bill to fund anti-Zika effort, Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, issued the following statement:
"We're pleased to learn that Congress has passed the long-overdue bill that allocates much-need funding to help fight the Zika virus. While it may not be enough to contain or minimize the impact of the virus long term, we' thankful for this important first step."
