Ribbon Cutting Ceremony:
Visit Myrtle Beach Airport Visitor’s Center

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to take part in the official opening of the brand new Visit Myrtle Beach Airport Visitor’s Center tomorrow, August 17, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. Light refreshments will be served.

“Nearly 18 million visitors come to Myrtle Beach each year, thousands by air. That makes Myrtle Beach International a first impression for many visitors,” said Diana Greene, executive vice president of membership programs and services for the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce. “As the number of visitors continues to rise, so does our responsibility to ensure that the first impression is not only a lasting one, but one that gets visitors excited about what they are about to experience in our beautiful area.”
Located in the baggage claim area of the Myrtle Beach International Airport, the new state-of-the-art center will serve as a gateway for the growing number of passengers that arrive at the airport each year. The center includes state-of-the-art video screens, a large assortment of brochures, and a friendly staff member ready to answer questions and provide valuable insight into the many attractions, activities, and accommodations throughout the Grand Strand.
