In response to the appellate court's decision to vacate the imposed stay related to International Drive, Brad Dean, president and CEO of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce, issued the following statement:
"We are encouraged by the commonsense decision by the appellate court that allows construction of International Drive to move forward. It is our hope that the bidding process on this long-overdue and necessary project will commerce quickly so that the work can get started very soon."
