North Myrtle Beach Aquatic & Fitness Center

The best gym and facility with amenities in Myrtle Beach area. Seriously nothing can compete with this one.

Very excited to have a place like this to use while on vacation. Well equipped and maintained. Fitness center is enormous with more than enough of any type of equipment you could need or want. Ive been in alot of gyms and this is one of the best Ive been in.

It's a fantastic facility and unfortunately because of one person the aquatic Director Judy I canceled my membership after one month.

This was once a good gym. However, they are now "overbooked." Parking is a huge problem. Most people just drive around the parking lot waiting for someone to pull out of a spot. The classes are crowded. If you want to take a Body Pump Class, arrive 20 minutes early to wait in line. If you don't, you won't get a spot in the class. The gym is packed but mostly just a whole lot of yaking & jaking. There are usually about 4-5 machines "down" at any time.

A wind facility to exercise! Very clean, the front desk personnel are very informative and welcoming. The track is on the second floor overlooking the basketball courts. The pool has lap lanes, a therapy pool and an exercise room that has all the equipment one could possibly want. There are also aerobic rooms, and various ball courts. A lovely facility!

Staff is very friendly. Watched them politely greet everyone as they came in. Pool is HUGE and there is plenty of room to share between lappers and recreatives. Depth to 9ft. Friendly Lifeguards on duty who are quick to respond to anything that looks out of place. Racquetball, fitness classes, sauna, hot tub; clean and spacious locker rooms, showers, etc. classes for the kiddos and a fun looking slide. Therapy and aqua fitness classes as well. Active military discount when you show your ID.

The center is very good, clean and the staff is great. I do not agree that senior couples pay less per person than single senior couples as well as single people period. It seems that just because you have a spouse, you are both more important that a person without a spouse even though a single person takes up less room, uses less water, etc. I think that families deserve a really great discount as it is very important to get children involved in exercise. BUT, the single person is not looked upon as important in my eyes. Therefore, I have cancelled my membership as I feel that the concern is not with me as a single senior, but lies with people that are married.

Awesome place to workout. Can lift weights lots of equipment, lots of cardio, great group instructors. Even have water classes. Lots of kids programs. Very clean. Value fantastic.
