CBM BASICS was established in 1977 by A.A. (Jack) Campbell in Florence, SC. The original name was Continental Business Media. Our main products at that time were computer related with an emphasis on special printed business forms and consumable supplies for computer (ribbon, diskettes, paper, etc.).

We continue today with a complete selection of stock and special printed business forms. We opened a branch in Myrtle Beach in 1981 and in 1983, we started an advertising specialty division selling pens, lighters, balloons, and a few other products. This division grew by leaps and bounds and we moved the corporate headquarters to Murrells Inlet in 1989.

CBM BASICS has been ranked in the top 15 distributors nationally every year.CBM/BASICS, LLC has been a member of the Advertising Specialty Institute, the National Business Forms Association, and an active member of the Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce since 1981.

The crowning achievement came in September 2002 when CBM/BASICS was awarded the highest award in the Advertising Specialty Industry - The Legend Award.
