Meet The Doctors

Dr. Patrick Vollrath, D.C. is a Chiropractor at SayeBrook

Dr. Patrick Vollrath -- who is happy to be called Dr. Pat or Dr. V -- has been with The Joint Chiropractic since December 2015. Dr Pat attended both Millersville State University (Pa.) and Anne Arundel College (Md.) Dr. Pat received his doctorate in 1986 from Texas Chiropractic College, which is outside of Houston, TX.

Dr. Pat was raised in Lancaster, Pa., and said he knew chiropractic was his calling after his parents told him how his mother actually avoided surgery through chiropractic care when she was young. Dr Pat has worked in Philadelphia and Exton, Pa., as well as Pasadena, Md. He and wife Diane have been married for more than 35 years and have three grown children.

What Dr. Pat enjoys most about the Joint SayeBrook clinic is that he can concentrate on helping people and not worrying about insurance companies, attorneys, narratives, or insurance plan limitations,"

In his spare time, Dr. Pat enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, and target shooting.

Dr. Jason Bell, D.C. is a Chiropractor at SayeBrook

Dr. Jason Bell (aka Dr. J) is a 1999 alumnus of Logan University. He was in private practice for 15 years in Indianapolis and 5 years in North Myrtle Beach. Chiropractic techniques he utilizes are Diversified, Thompson and Activator. Dr. J believes in lifelong chiropractic care and received his very first adjustment when he was only 10 days old. Dr. J loves hunting for shark teeth, dancing Carolina Shag, Salsa and paddleboarding.

Dr. Brennen Clement joined the Joint Chiropractic team in 2019 after graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus at the end of 2018. As a Spanish Translation major from Brigham Young University, Dr. Clement enjoys being able to help patients in English and Spanish.

“The best thing about being a chiropractor is being able to see people get better as we treat them and as they make changes in their lives,” Dr. Clement explains.

Having grown up in southern California, he has spent most of his life living on the West Coast. He and his wife of 7 years decided to uproot and are now enjoying their time in South Carolina with their young son.

Dr. Clement grew up going to the chiropractor and would marvel at the knowledge they had of the human body. “Whenever I went to the chiropractor, I was amazed at how quickly the doctor would identify and correct the issues I was having. This inspired me to want to do the same for others,” he says.

Dr. Clement thinks the best thing about working at the Sayebrook clinic is the other doctors, who he enjoys being around and collaborating with.

In Case You Didn’t Know…

Outside of the office, Dr. Clement has fun participating in sports such as basketball and volleyball, as well as spending quality time outside with his family.

One of his favorite experiences was taking a backpacking trip to Havasupai (a tributary of the Grand Canyon) and spending a week in its oasis hiking and swimming around waterfalls with friends and family.

Dr. Kimber Lange, D.C. is a Chiropractor at SayeBrook

Dr. Kimber Lange comes with a 20 year private practice history from Massachusetts. She graduated from SUNY Albany with a Masters in Social Work. While working as a social worker she was hit by a truck riding her bike. The injuries sustained in that accident led her to Chiropractic as a patient and she’s never looked back. The treatment and healing she received from her Chiropractor drove her to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College.

Dr. Kimber Lange holds the distinguished title as a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians. This elite training consists of over 300 post graduate classroom hours plus over 100 hours of on-field experience. In addition Dr. Lange holds a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician certificate which in a pre-requisite for DACBSP and consists of a minimum of 100 hours of post doctorate education in specialized sports medicine.

Dr. Kimber Lange is a lifelong mountaineer who has hiked the highest mountains around the world in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe and the United States, and was successful in reaching the summits of Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt. Fujiyama, Mt. Kosciuszko, and Mt Elbrus.

These days she enjoys traveling the Palmetto state getting to know the waterways and trails of South Carolina with her three teenage children.

Dr. Matthew Crilley is originally from Greensburg, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with his Bachelor of Science Degree and alter graduated with his Doctors of Chiropractic degree in 1996. He says the best part about being in the chiropractic field is, "being able to help people that have not been helped by other healthcare fields."

When Dr. Crilley is not working he enjoys going to the beach with his family, boating, and fishing. Together, Dr. Crilley and his wife, Amy, have three children, two dogs, and one hamster. Three 'famous' people, living or dead who would comprise his perfect dinner party include, Jesus, BJ Palmer (the developer of Chiropractic), and Troy Polamau. Dr. Crilley says the coolest thing he has ever done was go scuba diving in Mexico.
