Event Description:
In 2009, Congress failed to pass Card Check. However new government regulations and recent court cases have created a heavily regulated, anti-business agenda. Unfortunately, this poses a significant threat to economic growth and job creation, especially to ‘right to work’ states like South Carolina. The MBACC Legislative Policy Council will host policy experts from the U.S. Chamber and other organizations to discuss how these potential mandates could impact our state and your business. This important meeting has been scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on May 23rd in the chamber boardroom. If you like to attend this event, please RSVP to Kathy.Richardson@visitmyrtlebeach.com or call 843-916-7219.
